Features: Outstanding water reduction effect: Based on the result measured according to national standard GB 8076-2008 “Concrete Admixture”, Point-500 concrete superplasticizer can have a water reduction rate up to 20% and even up to 28% on high fluidity concrete. Adjustable set time: There are two types of Point-500 product, standard type and set retarding type. In the application of set retarding type, generally the initial set time can be delayed 2~5h, while the set retarding time can be adjusted to 20~30h depend of construction demand and -90min~+120min in construction in winter time. Excellent reinforcing: The harden concrete with Point-500 has rapid strength development and significant reinforcing effect with its 28d and 90d compressive strength generally 35~60% and more than 20 % respectively higher than those of reference concrete of corresponding period. Moreover, it also has a stable long-term strength development. Excellent workability: The concrete with appropriate dosage of Point-500 product has a great thixotropic property with low bleeding rate under ordinary pressure and being pressured. The concrete mix is resistant to bleeding and separation with low pumping resistance, and easy to pump and transport. Effective improvement of early hydration heat release progress: The set retarding composite of Point-500 can effectively delay the early hydration heat of cement, thus effectively reduce or prevent the occurrence of temperature cracking. High adaptability: The product is well adapted to various types of cement and active admixtures such as air-entraining agent, expanding agent and fly ash and well complemented and activated by each other. High durability: The loss rate of strength and dynamic elasticity modulus concrete with Point-500 through 150 freeze-thaw cycles significantly is reduced, while the durability distinctly increased. Concrete with Point-500 has 1.5~2.5 times resistance to carbonation higher than that of ordinary concrete and has excellent resistance to corrosion of steel bar.
