Features: High anti- cracking & permeability (micro inflation): The high water reducing ability of Point-V can significantly decrease water/cement ratio and effectively reduce shrinkage. The shrinkage and expansibility reducing ability of Point-V can keep impacting on the early and later stage of concrete hydration to produce different crystal hydrates and effectively decrease and compensate concrete shrinkage, and thus significantly enhance the long-term volume stability of concrete. Meanwhile, Point-V can improve pore structure and significantly enhance compacting and early tensile strength, thus achieve high anti- cracking & permeability of concrete. As proved by numbers of experimental results, as for concrete with Point-V there is almost no shrinkage for 28d and shrinkage rate of no more than 1.2×10-4 for 42d, which are far less than the deformation value to cause concrete cracking; while the anti-permeability mark is more than P30. High water reducing and reinforcing: Based on the result measured according to GB8076-2008 “Concrete Admixture”, the water reduction rate with Point-V is about 20%; while the 3d, 28d and 90d compressive strength of the concrete with Point-V is generally 65-90%, 30~55% and more than 25% respectively higher than those of reference concrete of corresponding period, furthermore, the strength develops stably in the later stage, namely, Point-V has high reinforcing ability. On the precondition of ensuring the same strength, except the cases of substituting part of cement, Point-V can save about 20% cement. Good workability: Point-V has excellent slump retaining performance on fresh concrete in that there is almost no slump loss within 2h after mixing. Point-V can be hardly affected by temperature, particularly suitable for concrete constructions of higher requirements of slump retaining and set retarding. Low early hydration heat: The 1d, 3d and 7d hydration heat of cement with Point-V is respectively 1/7, 75% and 90% of pure cement paste. The hydration heat peak is obviously decreased with occurring time delayed which can ensure avoid or reduce construction cold joint and contribute to effectively prevent and control the occurrence of temperature cracking. Enhancing binding strength between steel bar and concrete: Point-V can significantly reduce water dosage in unit cubic of concrete, enhance concrete compacting, thinning the water film layer between steel bar and concrete, decrease initial damage and defect, and enhance the positive pressure and mechanical bite force of concrete to steel bar. |
