Admixtures for maritime, tunnel and culvert constructions 

Instruction: Point-FS (light transparent liquid) is a kind of concrete water repellent mainly compounded by polycarboxylic acid and polyhydroxy polymer, together with other modified compositions. It can significantly enhance concrete anti-permeability and has functions of early strength, water reducing and anti-cracking, and improve the workability of fresh concrete.

Features:

High anti-permeability: Point-FS can effectively improve the concrete pore structure, and separate out gel and effectively block the inner concrete pore tunnels, and thus effectively improve the anti-permeability. Based on the result measured according to JC 474-2008 “Water Repellent for Mortar and Concrete” and GB8076-2008 “Concrete Admixture”, the results are: permeability of ≤30%, 48h water absorption of ≤65%, 28d shrinkage rate of ≤125%, which are up to the standard requirements for first-class water repellent.

Water reduction: Based on the result measured according to GB8076-2008 “Concrete Admixture”, Point-FS can have a water reduction rate of more than 10%. At context of the same concrete strength, with Point-FS can save 8～10％ cement by comparing to those without Point-FS.

Enhancing concrete compressive strength ratio: Based on the result measured according to GB8076-2008 “Concrete Admixture”, the 3d, 7d and 28d compressive strength of the concrete with Point-FS is generally 10-30%, 20~40% and 10-20% respectively higher than those of reference concrete of corresponding period.

Good workability: Point-FS has appropriate air entraining and can enhance the workability of fresh concrete. Based on the result measured according to GB8076-2008 “Concrete Admixture”, the bleeding rate of the measured concrete with Point-FS is ≤50%.

High adaptability: The product is well adapted to various types of cement, and compatible to admixtures like expanding agent and water reducer, and mixtures like fly ash.

Safety properties: Non-toxic, non-irritant, non-radioactive, nonflammable, non-explosive, non-dangerous, and no corrosive to steel bar.
