Features: High dispersion: Based on the result measured according to national standard GB 8076-2008 “Concrete Admixture”, with dosage of 1.8%, it can have a water reduction rate of 22% and excellent filling-ability if applied in preparation of high strength and ultrahigh strength concrete. The fluidity of cement paste at different dosage is as shown in Fig. 1. High slump retaining: Fluid concrete prepared with Point-400 set retarding type has slump loss of less than 20% within one hour. It is particularly suitable for commercial concrete construction required high slump retaining. Excellent workability: It can effectively enhance the flowability of concrete and reduce bleeding and separation to improve concrete compatibility, and thus make concrete convenient for pumping and easy to compact. Excellent reinforcing: At the same dosage of unit cementitious material, with water dosage of 1.5%, the 3d and 28d compressive strength of the concrete with Point-400 superplasticizer (set retarding type) is generally 50~70% and 20~40% respectively higher than those of reference concrete of corresponding period. Low early hydration heat: Concrete prepared Point-400 set retarding type has low early hydration heat. It can effectively prevent and control temperature cracking in large-volume concrete if used with mixtures such as fly ash and grinded slag. Adjustable set time: Point-400 set retarding type can effectively adjust the set time of fresh concrete depend of different construction requirements. Excellent durability: Point-400 set retarding type can effectively improve the pore structure of concrete and significantly enhance the durability indexes such as anti-permeability, anti-carbonation, wetting-drying cycle resistance, and freezing and thawing resistance. High adaptability: The product is well adapted to various types of cement, expanding agent fly ash and grinded slag.
